How to get to Green Lagoon Coron and prices
The are two option to visit the Green Lagoon Coron.
Option 1:
Join a package island hopping tour. The tour normaly starts at 9 am till 4/4.30 pm. There are various travel agencies offering similar rates.
TOUR A: P750 per person Las Islas de Coral, CYC Beach, Sunset beach, Quin Reef, Green Lagoon, Kayangan Lake
TOUR B: P950 Barracuda Lake, Smith Beach, Skeleton Wreck, Reef Garden, Twin Lagoon/Green Lagoon
TOUR C P1200 Bulog Dos Island, Banana Island, Malcapuya Island
TOUR D P1200 (Called the shipwreck tour) East Tangat, Pass Island, Coral Garden, Lusong Gunboat TOUR E P2400 Calauit Safari Sanctuary, Black Island, Lusong Coral Garden, Lusong Gunboat There is also a tour called Coron Island Ultimate Tour, which covers the best island hopping spots.

Everything is included on the islands tour (lunch, fruits, drinking water, entrance fees to the island) except the snorkel gear. I suggest to buy your own instead to rent it every time! Rental prices: Mask 150P Snorkeling Fins 300P
Option 2:
Hire a private boat, in the port of Coron for 1500/2000P, excluding food and entrance fees. Could be good for a group or who wants some privacy.
Where to stay in Coron
There are many option in town, for a economic double bedroom with ensuite bathroom is usually around 20/25 $ per night. I stayed in YuYu Family inn, right in town, 10 minutes walk to the port with free breakfast. Better to book in advance because the town is not to big and during high season everything is fully booked.
How much time do you need there
To visit the Green Lagoon Coron with the tour package or private boat a day is enough. I personally stayed 3 days 4 nights in Coron and I joined 2 tours, A and B and the last day I climbed Mount Tapyas and I went to Maquinit hot spring.
Best time to go visit Coron island
Coron is best experienced on dry months, specially from January to May. April is also the best month to go scuba diving.
Why should the Green Lagoon Coron be on my bucket list?
Because it looks like heaven on earth, the water is so crystal and blue and the view around with the limestone is amazing.
