Dusun Kuning Waterfall is located on the beautiful island Bali. It is a 40 minutes drive from Ubud. The Dusun Kuning Waterfall is definitely one of the best waterfalls in Bali.

How to get to Dusun Kuning Waterfall

You can get there easily by scooter. It is an beautiful way through the rice fields. At the end of the road you will find a sign on a tree.

Then you have to follow a small path through the jungle for about 20 minutes until you reach the breathtaking Dusun Kuning Waterfall.

Dusun Kuning Waterfall price

The entry is free of charge. There is no guided tour to the waterfall, so you are on your own. You can rent a scooter almost everywhere including Hostels and Homestays.

The price for the hole day is about 70000 Indonesian rupees.

Where to stay

If you want to visit all the amazing waterfalls on Bali, you should stay in Ubud.

Ubud is a small town which is located in the middle of Bali being the cultural and spiritual center. It is a good starting point to many waterfalls as well as to the well known rice fields.

How much time will you need at Dusun Kuning Waterfall

It takes about one hour to the waterfall. We went there in the evening and we found ourselfs alone with the waterfall. You can jump in the clear water or just relax and enjoy the beautiful view.

Next time I would go rather in the morning to spend more time at the waterfall.

Dusun Kuning Waterfall tips

The walk to the waterfall is simply awesome. It was rather challenging, some steps are very small and almost vertical like a wall.
I would recomend to take solid shoes.
Don’t miss to swim in the river down to the waterfall or just walk through, discovering the amazing nature.
