First you go to Koh Mae Koh and enjoy kayaking around the islands. After, you’re going to visit the Talay Nai, a emerald green lagoon. You can also go swimming and sunbathing on Talay Nai.

After lunch you’re going to visit Koh Wau Ta Lap. Koh Wau Ta Lap got a beautiful white sandy beach and an amazing viewpoint over the National Park. To reach the viewpoint you need to hike around 20min and 500 steps. Remember to bring some shoes in your bag because the steps are very heavy. The complete tour is around 8am to 4pm.

Where to stay

I stayed on the island of Koh Samui, in Lamai. There’s some restaurants and bar around and my hostel is on the beach. I stay at the Rich Resort Beach side in a dorm of 42 beds.

You can stay 3 days or more on the island because it’s a big island and there’s a lot of things to do like waterfalls, beaches, spa, restaurants and bars.

Why should Ang Thong National Marine Park be on my bucket list ?

You should go to this amazing island, this is the best places I’ve seen in my life. The viewpoint is awesome and the hike worth it.

Also, don’t pay more than 1500 baths if you’re going by Koh Samui because it’s closer than the others island. If you’re in Koh Phangan or Koh Tao it’s around 2200 baths.

I’ve seen a lot of countries in my life and Ang Thong National Marine Park has the best view. The color of the water, the island, the climb, it’s just a magical place to go!
