Take a flight to Denpansar, it’s the only airport at Bali. From Denpansar we took a cab to Ubud. It cost around 20€ and took 2 hours. In Ubud we rent a scooter for 7€ and drove to the terrace ourself, but you can take a cab or a minivan. Takes about 5-20 minutes depending on were you stay

Where to stay:

Ubud town. It’s quite a small town but stay close to the mainroad if you don’t rent a scooter.

We went there around lunch time a cloudy day in the middle of november. Wasn’t crowded that day. But I would recomend to visit the Tegalalang Rice Terrace in the morning hours to avoid turists.
