How much time will you need there

For visiting the Pyramids of Giza, 4 hours is more that enough time. In fact, it will be enough to visit the Sphinx, all three pyramids, and even get inside of one of them.

When is the best time to visit the Pyramids of Giza

If you want to take the best pictures alone with the pyramids, it’s best to get up early. Also, the weather won’t be too hot early in the morning. The best season to go is definitely winter time or early spring/late autumn, from November to April. We visited the pyramids at noon in July. It was unbearable hot at that time and can’t imagine doing it again. Not a good idea.

What should you not do

A visit to the inside of one of the pyramids can be interesting, but don’t expect anything spectacular. If you are on a tight budget you can do the small pyramid for 40 LL instead of The Great Pyramid (the biggest one of the three) for 200 LL.
